Another Real Da Vinci Code

A researcher thinks he has possibly discovered a hidden image of a woman holding a child in Da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.” The researcher decided to scan The Last Supper, print it on transparent paper, and then superimpose it in reverse on the original image.

“Pesci further claims that the two figures on each end of the table become knights when his method is applied. He believes they could be Knights of Templar, which were considered guardians of the holy grail.”

I don’t buy it. Of course when you place images in reverse behind other images on a transparent sheet you will see new people, who will be coming through the paper!

I think Pesci has read the Da Vinci code too many times. The image looks inconclusive to me, and seems like just another way for someone to get attention.

What’s next, the Mona Lisa says “Paul is dead”?
