What are oil painting reproductions?

Oil painting reproductions are hand painted recreations of original paintings. Reproductions are an exciting opportunity to actually own some of the world’s greatest paintings without having to spend millions of dollars or purchase cheap lifeless prints. The vibrant, rich, textured colors from our oil painting reproductions can only be achieved by slowly hand-painting with the best quality oil paints available. We do not use any short-cuts, production line teamwork, and no machines are involved. Each painting is painted by your own and exclusive dedicated artist.

Whether it is a Van Gogh in your living room or a Monet in your office's reception area, these hand painted masterpieces will not only draw great attention, but they will add sophistication to your walls and rooms. They are sure to bring many years of enjoyment for generations to come.

Do the reproductions look exactly like the original?

Because these reproductions are hand painted, there will always be slight variations between the originals and our reproductions. We examine the works that we commission very carefully and make sure that our reproductions contain similar brushstrokes and techniques used by the original artist.

What kind of artist will be painting my oil painting?

The painters we work with are highly qualified and talented artists. They have perfected their expertise through years of formal study and many more years of full-time painting.

Can your artists produce any paintings?

While we only have roughly 400 paintings on our website at this time, our artists are usually able to create custom paintings upon your request. This is especially true of paintings by artists that are already present on our site, but whose entire catalog is not displayed.

Note: We abide strictly by US Copyright laws and will not paint any painting that has been created after 1923 (this may be why some of our artists such as Picasso only have their earlier works present in our gallery).

What sizes can I order?

Because each oil painting reproduction is individually commissioned, we can be very flexible to meet your needs. While we only display standard sizes for any painting on our site, you may order any size that you wish.

What about framing my painting?

Many people have distinct and varying ideas when it comes to frames. Local framers typically do a very good job and can also help you customize your frame from thousands of choices that would simply be impractical on put on our website. By getting your framing done locally, it will also save you money through expensive shipping costs that come with shipping a large framed painting.

We do, however, have a small amount of paintings pre-framed for those who do not have the time or do not want to think about a frame. These come stretched, framed, and ready to hang on your wall. These can be found in our “in stock “section. If you wish to have us frame a custom painting that you have ordered, please contact us for details.

How long will it take for me to receive my painting?

Because our paintings are made to order, it will take us approx. 4 to 8 weeks to paint and ship your order from when it was commissioned, depending on the complexity of the painting. We will inform you in advance when the painting has finished and will be shipped to your address.

These oil reproductions are well worth the wait as there are no other reproductions that can match the outstanding color depth, texture, rich detail and magnificent style of our beautiful hand-painted art reproductions. You can rest assured that you will receive an original hand-painted oil painting that is so fresh, you will smell the brand new oil painting when you first open your package.

How do I know what my order status is?

During processing and shipping you will receive status e-mails from us to keep you up to date on the status of your order.

Do you sell worldwide?

Yes, we accept international orders. However, additional shipping charges may be required for some destinations.

Will I have to pay customs duty or taxes?

We do charge 7% sales tax in the state of New Jersey, where we reside. As for customs, this varies from country-to-country though, in most countries, hand-painted oils on canvas do not attract duty. However, please check the customs or postal authorities in your home country if you have any questions.

Can I pay by check instead of Paypal?

Make sure to include information such as sizing and the painting name that you want. Also check to see that appropriate shipping and sales tax have been computed correctly. As soon as your check has cleared, we will start work on your painting.

How many different shipment methods do you have?

We typically ship all paintings by UPS. We offer free shipping within the continental US, and charge $17 for any other orders no matter how many paintings you have. When your painting gets sent out, we will email you a shipping code so you can track the painting yourself before it arrives.

If I am not satisfied with my painting what can I do?

If for some reason you are not happy with the painting you've purchase, you may return it or exchange it within 30 days in its original condition and packaging and we will refund your money less shipping and handling. Please advise us immediately if the painting comes damaged or if there is any physical problem with the painting.

Each and every work of art is individually examined before they leave our facilities against very strict quality standards so you can rest assured that you will receive only the very best premium quality oil painting reproductions on canvas that money can buy.

Can I get a discount on large orders?
